ABOUT THIS AQUATIC CENTRE

Sunderland Aquatic Centre is more than just a pool. It offers many other activities and fitness options. There is also a 50m swimming pool that can be divided into two 25m pools. There is also a 140-seat gym and a variety of instructor-led group fitness classes for all abilities. Children can also use the fun soft play area to burn off extra energy.

Gym

The TechnoGym cardio- and strength equipment is spread over two floors. These include Pure Strength machines, Cable Cross Overs and Olympic lifting platforms.

Swimming Pool

You can split our 50m Olympic-sized pool into two 25m pools and choose from many different activities. These include lane swimming sessions, our award-winning swimming lessons, and diving lessons. They are suitable for all ages.
