About Sandwell Aquatics Centre

It is believed that the Sandwell Aquatics Centre is the sole venue with a brand new design that will host the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.It has an aquatic and diving competition pool , and the venue will be home to the most medal-winning events of any venue. A temporary para-swim warm-up pool has also been constructed in the venue along with an indoor dry diving practice area.After the Games this venue is scheduled to be redesigned with the intention of removing the temporary seating of 4,000 and additional amenities for leisure will be constructed prior to the center reopening as a facility for the community during the summer of 2023. Accessibility: The location is located in an area of residential with sidewalks for pedestrians. It will include a range of facilities accessible to the disabled inside our fan area. These include changing facilities, toilets and changing rooms.

Swmming and Para Swimming Session, Sunday 31 July, 7PM – 10PM / Swimming and Para Swimming Session, Tuesday 2 August, 7PM – 10PM
