Bobsleigh and Skeleton TEST SESSIONS

We offer several spring and summer tasting classes for the two sports, allowing you to test your skills at the skeleton, bobsleigh, or both. We do it here in the UK. The UK.

The venue is the home of the BBSA located in Bath. These sessions are a great beginning to the sport. They make great gifts to that daring person in your life or a family member.

Catering to anyone from bucket-list enthusiasts to fitness-minded people and armchair fans to young Olympians, The sessions are an excellent opportunity to burn off all the energy you’ve accumulated due to the prolonged lockdowns!

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

• The sessions are held at our unique push track located at the Bath’s University of Bath, the only track in the country.
• You’ll get world-class coaching from the current GB athletes or GB coaches. They will teach you the techniques of the trade, give suggestions and tips to improve your performance and answer your queries about the sport.
• Speed is the mainstay of both skeleton and bobsleigh, so you’ll be able to measure your speed against the clock once you’ve learned the fundamentals.
• Sessions are open to all novices, and no prior experience in the sport is necessary.
• If you’ve been to a session previously, you’re invited to attend again. We’ll ensure you start where you left off to get even better results than when you return.
• You don’t need to be a runner to join in as well – we will customize your workout according to your ability, and you’re permitted to relax or reduce the pace whenever you’d like. If you can get things moving quickly, however, you will be able to handle those who feel more confident. We’ll guide you to move at your own pace.
• Adult sessions are available to people who are 16 or over (see the details of junior sessions below); however, there is the possibility of an age limit. There was an 84-year-old participant enjoying a bobsleigh experience in the past. So feel free to ask if you’re eligible for the bus pass.
• We cater to all dimensions and shapes. However, If you are concerned about your participation capability, feel free to get in touch directly.
