At Soccer Stars Academy Sunderland & Durham, your little ones can enjoy all of the fun that football has to offer without the competitive edge of a club or league games. We offer fun football for kids in Durham & Sunderland for children aged 18 months to 9 years old.
Our kids & toddler football classes in Durham & Sunderland run during term time and over school holidays. We also run soccer camps over the school holidays and host football themed birthday parties.

Twinkle Stars: Ages 18 Months – 3 Years Old
The Twinkle Stars are the first age group in our development pathway, starting with toddlers as young as 18 months.
These sessions are designed to help children grow their social and motor skills and move seamlessly onto more active independent interactions with their peers. Our Twinkle Stars sessions are meant to be a positive introduction to sport and physical activity. These are fun and interactive sessions for parents and children.
Bright Stars: Ages 3–4 Years Old
Our Bright Stars continue our philosophy of FUN football!
In building on the previous class for children between 18 months and 3 years of age, our aim is for your little ones to develop confidence and cognitive skills over and above basic football skills. Using a range of exciting football-related games and activities such as weekly themes, we stimulate the children’s imagination, attention span and memory too.

Shooting Stars: Ages 5–6 Years Old
Our Shooting Stars add a new level of skill to their repertoire in this group!
Here, we help girls and boys advance fundamental football skills each week. These include dribbling, ball control, tackling, shooting and passing techniques.
While we also introduce our ‘skills to beat players’ model at this stage, we always ensure that each child is always having fun.
Super Stars: Ages 7–9 Years Old
The Super Stars group is the next and final step in our sports coaching. The focus is on developing the young players’ abilities and skills even further. Our football coaches focus on skill progression by introducing more complex skills to beat other players alongside developing spatial awareness and an understanding of positions, tactics, and strategy.
