Cockermouth Sports Centre’s climbing wall is for the bravest. Are you up for the challenge? You can either take on the challenge yourself or make use of the other facilities. Enjoy a fun family day by trying a new activity.

There are many sports you can try to get your children active at the centre. A qualified member of staff is always available to help your child train properly and offer advice at the junior gym. You can also rent the table tennis and badminton courts, which have plenty of space in the sports hall for those big shots. Gymnastics classes are available for kids who want to learn how to jump, flip and twist in a sport. It’s easy to get kids moving with all these fun sessions.

Once you have the courage, you can head to the climbing wall to see if your efforts will pay off. If you are unable to climb the wall, don’t worry. One of the instructors can help and you will soon be climbing up and down the wall. You can then head down to the family fun sessions at pool, which include floats and ball, as well as sinking toys, for your entire family. You can rest assured that everything is under the supervision of the lifeguards. All you need is a fun, worry-free day!
