Itchen Valley Country Park is where you’ll find Go Ape Southampton. The beautiful 440-acres of water meadows, woodland, and meadows located beside the River Itchen have been awarded a Green Flag in the last four years.

Southampton is the hub for outdoor activities and there are many things to keep everyone busy. There are two play areas available, each linked by the Play Trail that features a series animal sculptures for children. The whole family will have a blast.

There are many trails that will lead you through this beautiful park, including the Keepers Trail (Nature Detective Trail), Tree Trail (Tree Trail), and the Keepers Trail. Two permanent orienteering courses are available for those who are more adventurous.

Regular activities are offered throughout the year to children. Make sure you check out the park’s website for details. There are plenty of opportunities to refuel with hot and cold meals and beverages at the park’s cafe.
